Terms and Conditions

By registering and using Roomate you fully accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Roomate is a marketplace that connects people offering long-term rental spaces with people looking for a place to live. The platform does not intervene in negotiations or rental contracts between parties.

• You must provide truthful and updated information.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You may not create fake accounts or impersonate others.

• Published listings must be real and available.
• Photos must match the offered listing.
• Published price must reflect the real rental value.
• Illegal, offensive, or fraudulent content is prohibited.

• Users can buy slot packs (1, 5, 10, or 20 slots) as many times as needed.
• The free slot is reusable when deleting or marking a listing as rented. Paid slots are consumed on create and are not restored.
• Purchased slots are added to the user account and do not expire.
• Payments are securely processed through Flow.cl.
• Refunds are reviewed case by case within the first 7 days from purchase.

Roomate acts only as a technology intermediary. We are not part of rental agreements and are not responsible for:

• Accuracy of information published by users.
• Conflicts between owners and tenants.
• Damages resulting from use of the platform.

Roomate's design, code, and brand are owned by its creators. Users retain rights over their content but grant Roomate a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, publish fraudulent content, or misuse the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to competent courts in Santiago.

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective when published on this page.
