Quick answers to the most frequently asked questions.

How do I publish a room?+
Sign in, go to "Publish room" from the menu or dashboard, complete the 4-step form, review the summary in step 5, and click "Publish".
How many rooms can I publish for free?+
When you sign up, you get 1 reusable free slot: if you delete or mark a room as rented, it becomes available again. Paid slots are consumed when creating and are not restored. To have multiple active rooms at once, buy extra slots.
How can I buy more slots?+
From the Slots Store you can buy packs of 1, 5, 10, or 20 slots. These are consumed when creating a room and are not reusable. Your free slot is reusable when you delete or mark a room as rented.
How do payments work?+
Payments are securely processed through Flow.cl. A new window will open where you can pay with debit card, credit card, or other available methods.
How long does my listing stay active?+
Each room lasts 60 days. If you delete it or mark it as rented, the free slot becomes available again. If it expires, you can delete it to free the slot, renew it (uses 1 paid slot), or wait until it is removed.
How do interested people contact me?+
People can contact you via WhatsApp using the number you provide while publishing. The contact button appears on the room detail page.
Can I edit my listing after publishing?+
You can currently manage your listings status from "My rooms" in your dashboard.
How can I delete my account?+
Write to us at [email protected] or visit the contact page. We will process account and data deletion within 30 days.
Does Roomate charge rental commissions?+
No. Roomate does not participate in rental agreements or charge commissions. Agreements are made directly between owner and interested person.
Can I request a refund for slot purchases?+
Refund requests are reviewed case by case within the first 7 days after purchase, as long as you have not used slots from the purchased pack.
